DoveBoard is made at Synvarael Innovations and used every day to run one life and one company. When something in it is bad, the person who built it is the first one to feel it — which is a smaller promise than a support contract and a more reliable one.

Self-hosted by default
Every system built here is designed to run on hardware its owner controls. Not for ideology — because a business that rents its foundations pays rent forever and inherits every outage above it.
AI-assisted, openly
DoveBoard is built with AI at every layer, and that isn't treated as a secret to be managed. It is the reason one person can ship something this size. The work still gets reviewed, tested, and run in production by a person.
Audited, not assumed
The uncomfortable entries stay on the risk register until they're fixed, and the ones that aren't fixed yet get said out loud. Encryption that derives its key from a file inside the backup is a problem whether or not anyone writes it down. The app writes it down, in red.
Why it exists
The short version.
I built the first version of DoveBoard because I was running a life and a company out of eleven different apps, none of which knew the others existed. My tasks were in one place, the invoices in another, the notes in a third, and the only thing holding it together was me remembering to check all of them. That isn't a system. That's a person doing the work a system should do.
So I built the thing I wanted: one window, one database, my life on one side and the business on the other, running on a machine in my own house. Then I kept building it, because once everything is in one place you start noticing all the things that were missing — and you start being able to ask questions that no single app could have answered.
The self-hosting isn't a marketing angle. I did not want the record of my days sitting on someone else's server, subject to someone else's pricing changes and someone else's decisions about what to do with it. If that matters to you too, DoveBoard was built by someone who agrees with you.
It is not a commercial product yet. There is no support contract, no hosted version, and no promise of a release cadence. It is, however, deliberately built to be handed to somebody else — first-run setup, an update procedure with a safety net, spaces you can switch off, and a full data export are all in the box, and the reasoning behind every one of them is written down.

The parent company

DoveBoard is one product of several. Synvarael Innovations runs across five divisions — infrastructure, automated revenue operations, product invention, web and app development, and car audio and interior detailing — and its own site is being built at synvarael.com. That site is not live yet. When it is, this is where it will be explained properly rather than in a paragraph.
